Ashanti Research Limited is an Africa-focused buy-side investment research firm based in Nairobi, Kenya with a representative office in Lagos, Nigeria.

Ashanti Research has partnered with NIC Securities, a subsidiary of NIC Bank to help long term investors (individuals and corporate) to purchase well researched stocks listed at the Nairobi Stock Exchange.
Client Services Administrator - Intern
Ashanti requires an intern to service as a Client Services Administrator for 3 months starting February 1, 2013 to be based at our Lang’ata, Nairobi office.
Job Description
The Client Services Associate will be primarily responsible for ensuring that client accounts are opened efficiently, and that all records pertaining to clients and Ashanti Research Limited are well maintained.

Responsibilities include data entry, client documentation follow-up, tracking of expenditure, arranging appointments, client site visits.

Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:

Diploma in Business Administration or similar qualification
Writing samples will be required as part of the interview process.

Technical Skills:

Must have a proficient understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word, Excel.

Professional Skills:

Must work effectively with others in a professional setting.
Must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must be extremely detail oriented.
