"Amazing Grace" for the Boys Choir of Harlem

Before I tap into this post, I like to listen to a song from The Boys Choir of Harlem.

Now since I heard that sweet song, I am now wondering “What will you be remembered by?” The Boys Choir of Harlem will forever be linked to singing at the White House for every president from LBJ to good ole W. except who….

Barack Obama.

They will be linked as the young performers with world class voices from different parts of the roughest NYC streets that can light up the world but what……..

They were link to a sexual accusation about a counselor and the director turned a blind eye to the issue.

They will be link for getting a National Medal of Arts by President Clinton and many politicians thought it would even outlast its founder but what happened……..

Seven deadly sins later and you will find what you built for kids to have hope for is destroyed forever.

Now I should know that when you build your house in stones, it is solid, but if a powerful disaster strikes and you never found a plan to fix the crack just in case, it can be destroyed as quick as it can be fixed. (ie: Hurricane Katrina). Losing the Boys Choir of Harlem is like losing a family member. You want them to be forever but you know that forever will go away. So a toast to the Boys Choir of Harlem, you will be forever missed.
